A NEON STRIPE

Hai..
An outfit post/ mini spice up DIY coming at you today.

I brought this jacket along with a matching skirt from a car boot near Finsbury Park in London. This set was deff the best thing i picked up, initially i only wanted the jacket but the woman wouldnt sell them to me separately (always annoying when this happens) ... However very haps to have brought both as the skirt has become one of my fave items of clothing! Anyway this post is primarily about the jacket, the skirt defiantly deserves its own post. Payed around £3 for both pieces.

I was attracted to the unusual shape of the jacket , and a nice boxy shape but thought it deff needed some spicing up. If youve known or seen my work over the past year it would be clear to see ive got a little love affair with neon yellow. Just very attracted to it recently, in small doses however. anyway thats what i thought this jacket needed a pop of highlighter yellow.

Its very simple but would recommend to do it on something you not going to wear all the time as its not the most durable way of embellihment. All ya need is some yellow wool and a needle and thread.

I sewed on a thick neon yellow wool with a thin neon yellow thread.

Jacket: carboot
Jumpsuit and necklace: HnM
Shoes: primark
Bag: TK maxx
A random illustration, combining 5 different faces all sewn together.
These pics are from a while ago when i still had long hair (if anyone was wondering)
